Watched some home vids last night (Can't upload, them, sorry...) and it does look like they come out pretty far.:shrug: Maybe it's just the age of the system?

I`m here
I don`t have official word of this, but from some digging it looks like we all (myself included) imagined this. I`ve compared 1990, 2001 and 2008 video and it is all the same; the boats come as far as the `buffer` that is visible above the waterfall crest but below the boat as viewed from outside; the turning mechanism is right up against the buffer. It is and was physically impossible for them to come any further out.

Yes EC is my home away from home Test Track was down twice so far but what else is new, but we are getting on now!

Thanks as we were about to get on it broke down for the third time, 40 minute wait is now an 85 minute wait.

and what happened if they moved the BUFFER?
trust me, these boats came out much further then they do now.. oh yes, maybe not in the last 10 years.. but just cuz you weren't alive back then to see it, but it did happen..

My family still insists it happened, no matter how much I try to persuade them. Same for the Maelstrom.
