Hello everyone.

I am a female in my late 30s taking a solo trip to WDW from September 10-20th. I have been there with friends twice before but this is my first solo trip. I am looking to see if there are any others who'd like to meetup and hang out at the parks. I am open to meeting up with other solo travelers, couples, or friends traveling together. I enjoy all six theme parks but Epcot is probably my favorite with Animal Kingdom being a close second. I enjoy painting, festivals, artsy stuff, meeting new people, and intelligent conversation. Please respond to this thread if you will be at Disney at the same time as me and would be interested in hanging out at the parks for a couple of hours.

Thanks,
A solo traveler.

I've met up with people from here as well, and had a great time.

And near-missed some others. :(

I would love to meet up with members of WDW Magic, if the opportunity ever arose.

I also went on the Ladies' cruise last year and didn't know a single soul. It was a blast and I would do it again. Oh, wait, I am!

And rooming with strangers!! You daredevil!

Oh, wait, you're rooming with me...I should have said "rooming with a strange chick". :p

I met up with 26 other ladies from this site to take a 4 night cruise on the Dream last September. I had not met most of them, a few I didn't know at all. Some of us Dream Girls are going on another cruise this September. I see nothing wrong with meeting up with other Disney fans, as long as you go about it safely.

Best trip EVER. Hope you'll be onboard with girls cruise 2015. That'll be the Sept 14 sailing. (I think)

It was a great trip! I'm very upset that I will be missing this year's cruise. I hope to be on next year's. That will probably be my onboard booking! And my bestie can use his for our follow up cruise. I told him to be prepared to be hooked!

P.S. I don't think you're a strange chick! You're my kind of chick! I enjoyed our talks on the walks back to the room and on those beautiful verandahs!

For some reason, I suddenly hear Mr Rogers singing "won't you be my neighbor" ;). Aft verandahs, baby!!

"Dreaming" of my next cruise with you!!

Yes this is a public forum but honestly as an adult I'm certain the OP is aware of what information is probably best left unsaid! WDW Resort is a public place so as long as you use you head meet out in the public eye I'm certain everything will be fine.
On my last trip to the World my friend and I made plans to meet a WDWMagic member @abeachchick who also introduced us to some other solo travelers! We mostly met up outside of the parks at resort bars and lounges we had some drinks shared some food, stories, tips, and laughs. It was completely harmless as well as a blast! Now I feel like I have a new friend (/drinking buddy ;)) to hang out with while in the World should she be there at the same time.

Public Eye is the key; I'm asking if anyone would be interested in hanging out at the parks, not inviting them to my hotel room!

My bf and I will be there from Sept. 7-21 and staying on Disney Property. There might be a day or two later towards the end of the first week or early in the second week where he heads back to the hotel early to work online while I stay to catch a show or do the fantasy land rides (which he doesn't care for). Let me know if you'd want to meet in the early evenings.
