I'm on a cruise this summer. Usually they give a 10% discount for booking onboard. Might that make the most sense?

Don't forget that you can book now and then rebook during the summer and still get the 10% discount. At that time the prices might not have gone up by 10% so you'd still do better especially with the onboard booking credit. We've done that before.
