We were in Best Buy today and saw all the figure things and then were able to figure out it was game related. But what is it???

pretty simple, you buy disney infinity for the wii.
Each of these toy figurines are actually DLC (or game expansions)
that add a few maps and the respective character to the game.
also, they work as collectibles.
OK, what is the "game"? I got a Wii a few years ago and played the games that came with it and put it back in the box where it now sits. I am not really a game guy. I am wondering if its something the kids would want to do.

My son loves to play it and collect characters.
It's basically a giant toy box / challenge game. Each new character you get, will add more and more challenges to the game for you to complete. Then there is the toy box portion of th game, where you can build cities and towns and areas for the characters to have fun in. Think almost sin city like, but a Disney version...
