How many days do you go?

This is somewhat similar to the How many days for you thread:
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/how-many-days-for-you-part-9.874329/

But instead, share below how many days you usually go to Walt Disney World! Usually, for my family we go for either 7 or 8 days. We split it up like this: (This is for the last trip we took).

Day 1: Epcot
Day 2: Magic Kingdom
Day 3: Discovery Cove
Day 4: Sea World
Day 5: Disney's Hollywood Studios
Day 6: Blizzard Beach
Day 7: Disney's Animal Kingdom
Day 8: Magic Kingdom

We usually go for 9-10 days and hit each park at least once with some water park days in between. We also take advantage of the Park Hopper option to catch fireworks at Epcott or MK in the evening after ending early at AK or HS. We always hit MK twice, even if partial days. We'll usually go early at rope drop and break in the afternoon at our resort pool and return to a park in the evening when it's cooler and the crowds have died down. This helps make it less frantic and we still get to see everything.

We don't always do the same thing every time we go. But, we always start our first full day at MK. This year, we're going:

(1) Arrive ~1:00 then to HS to meet my Brother and his family for Dinner/Fantasmic!
(2) MK AM / Epcot PM
(3) MK all day
(4) UNIV all day
(5) AK AM / MK PM
(6) HS AM / Hotel PM
(7) Open?? AM / Epcot PM
(8) MK AM / Open?? PM
(9) Open ?? AM / fly home in PM

Open?? = we go back to wherever we want or stay at the hotel and swim. Basically a "free" time ;)

Minimum 7 but our last trip was 10. We now break up MK & EP into two days each. I wish we could go for 10 days every time but budget may not allow it. Maybe once the kids either contribute to paying for the vacation or they choose not to go. Next chosen resort is WL so probably not, but it will be for 7, most likely 8, at least.

Coming over from UK we tend to do 14 night stays. Prior to this we have meetings where we plan the details - but usually include at least:
Arrive early evening and chill out by the pool etc - after whole day travelling (vacation starts day before when we all meet up and stay in hotel prior to flight next morning)

2 days MK (day 1 is always MK):D
1/2 days EPCOT
1 day AK
1 day HS
1/2 day waterpark
1/2 days Uni and/or Islands
1 day Seaworld (if not another at MK)
1 day rest somewhere in between - which is pool time. rest and relaxtions (but psrt way through they day one of our party normally says 'shall we go to....' and we do!:hilarious:

Special events - e.g. MNSSHP/MVMCP, additional tours, Kissimee and shopping happen in between all of this - so any spare days are usually taken up re-visiting parks to do things we love again, and again!:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:

Final morning is spent using up our excess energy before we have to travel back to UK - DTD and maybe a quick visit to do one last ride!!! After all we need to make the most of the time as we can't do it annually due to costs and time from work. Then its back to the airport and home and the sadness of knowing we have to wait for a year or 2 to do it all over again, and wishing we had another vacation to recover from this one.:oops::oops:
