I was at the DLR a few years ago and you had a room key and a piece of paper to charge things back to you room account. Have they updated this to the same style as WDW? It makes things alot simpler.... If they haven't, any plans to?

Thanks

I'm not clear on the piece of paper, but you can charge things to your room if you provide a credit card on check-in at WDW.

They pre-authorize for a fixed amount [depending on what level resort you're at - I think it's $500/value, $1000/moderate and $1500/deluxe] and when your charges reach that amount, they automatically charge the credit card and re-authorize for further charges.

Nope - still the paper charge slips. They haven't upgraded the infrastructure to have a system like WDWs yet. I wish they would soon though!

The one nice thing about the charge being separate though is that in September I had a lot of people with keys to my room, who I didn't necessarily want charging things to me. Still, I'd rather have the integrated system.
