Trip Report Holy Smokes! Let's see how it goes?! *COMPLETED*

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my modest atempt in writing my very first Trip Report!

It all started when posting on a thread about the new smoking ban inside the parks, and someone (Hi @Lensman !) suggested that I could write about my experience during my next visit to WDW.

This Trip Report will NOT be just about smoking! Although I will be honest about my personal perspective about it during my visit.
(In no way am I endorsing or suggesting that it is advisable to smoke).

As I said before in this forum, I hope that in writing about our trip, not only will I share my little adventure with you, but also hopefuly, be distracted from smoking!

Good morning to All!

We had a good time at Disney Springs last night, ended up coming back at 11pm! It wasn't crowded and by then, the weather was very pleasant. No humidity! I could tell because my hair did not frizz as it usually does when in FL!

Went for a couple of drinks and a bite at Jock Lindsey's Hangar.
Frank loves the theming of course, being about aviation! That place is full of artifacts and gadgets. I have not idea what they are but it's interesting and drinks are great!

So today will be the day, no smoking inside the parks, heading to Epcot at noon.

I've been preparing myself for today, it'll be an adjustment, but I'm sure that my love for Disney will prevail!

Took a couple of pictures on the way in to Epcot.

First, there are a couple of small standing ashtrays right on the path everyone uses from the parking lot into the park, not ideal...

As you can see in the pictures bellow, there's a new area, partially shaded by trees, only one bench, but people can sit on the planter's edge.

It is located at the East side of the entrance, near restrooms.

Just walked by the former Smoking area by The Land Pavillion, it is empty, not a single non-smoker was there!

Lunch at Electric Umbrella, (gotta have that brisket cheddar sandwich!)

Then it happened... the after lunch cig break so we thought, "we are not that far away from the entrance", yeah right!, it is quite a walk, specially under the blazing sun.

We don't see ourselves doing that every 2/3 hours. I'll have to wait until we get to International Gateway

Oops I meant the one at the entrance. The one at the Seas -Land always confused me because it was so in the middle of traffic flow. Even though I smoke, I always felt the areas off the beaten path were best. Have a great trip! I caved and decided to come for a few days, we get there this weekend.

Only chew a half piece at first. Maybe you can tolerate it better than I can.
