New official info about the holiday additions to Mad T Party:

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...-merrier-at-disney-california-adventure-park/

Those who venture down the Rabbit Hole will discover new delights – from fanciful garlands to elegant icicles to special edition silver tokens at the Mad Arcade – along with all-new songs and a bit of snowfall, just in time for T.

The fantabulous festivities are highlighted by new arrangements of popular holiday hits from the Mad T Party band, while over at the House of Cards, the Hottest Deck in Town delivers some brand new dance sets. There’s even more merry muchness, too, as the White Rabbit DJ checks his song list not once but twice to re-mix seasonal favorites.

Who knew Cars Land could look even more beautiful at night? The new xmas lights and character-specific decorations are awesome and very creative in their design. The new holiday background music loop is also very fun.

I caught the Prep & Landing 4D show. The 3D was nicely done I thought, and if you haven't seen the short (Naughty vs. Nice... the third Prep & Landing thing/the second half hour special), it's totally worth a look. I didn't really feel the "4"D, though. I noticed a few lighting effects, but other than that....? No rainstorm like I heard about with Frankenweenie.

Mouseplanet is reporting the following scheduled for candy canes

DL-Candy Palace-
Mondays and Fridays

DCA- Trolley Treats
Tuesdays and Saturdays

If you haven't seen it yet, heres a video from last year on the making of the candy canes. Note the old kitchen as well.

The small world holiday projection show seems to have been majorly down graded from it's debut back in 2005.

This was the 2005-2011 version.

Al Lutz has this to say on Miceage this morning...

"The Resort hit over 100,000 visitors between both parks on Monday, a number Anaheim used to only approach on New Year's Eve. But the change from the past is that Monday's attendance was evenly split between DCA and Disneyland, with just over 50,000 each. Those sardine-can numbers should continue through Wednesday, before AP blockouts kick in and things slow down a bit Thursday through Saturday. Gone are the days when DCA spent the holidays as a holding pen while Disneyland was closed due to overcrowding; now both parks are splitting the growing numbers evenly. TDA and Burbank are thrilled."

Wow!
