I have an old Cybershot I bought the day before my first WDW trip in 2005. I've absolutely adored it. But it looks like it's been through the war and it's time for a new camera. I'm really into photography and have been doing a lot of research, trying to educate myself on the kinds of cameras out there.
My new camera was going to be my first DSLR, a Nikon D3100. But then I saw the new Sony DSC-HX100V Cyber-shot, and even though it's not a DSLR like I originally wanted, it looks really cool. And since I loved my Cybershot so much, I think I will love this one too. I heard the zoom is amazing and I know how great the Carl Zeiss lens is.
So what should I do. Take the next step and buy my first DSLR or stick with what I know, the Cybershots.
