As we celebrate our Independence (and our gluttony, I mean, come on, I'm gonna be hitting those hot dogs and hamburgers, how about you? <grin>)
As we watch the fireworks, or set some off ourselves.
I merely ask that you stop for a moment and think about those who pledged an oath to keep this dream alive, this dream we all enjoy.
Think about what it means for them, and their families, especially when they cannot be with them on days like this. And, even if it is just in the back of your mind, wish them well.
Iraq may be "over" (as far as civilians know), but their oath doesn't stop...ever.
