Guests and Pool access

Hi there,

So we are staying at BC in Feb. My parents are staying at an off property resort. They are coming to see me run the race. On Saturday, to rest my body, I am staying around the BC all day. Not a bad day if you ask me. But we wanted to have my parents meet us there as we will not have a car to get to their place. Can our guests use the pool? This is not a pool hoping question so I don't want to cause a big ruckus. Its a, my mom and dad are meeting us for lunch can mom use the pool with me question. Any insight here is very helpful!

Adding 2 more adults to an existing 2 adults reservation would incur 2 "extra adult" in the room charges, at Beach Club $25 plus tax PER extra adult PER night.

Not the way to go!

No, its not worth adding them to cost. Plus, I don't really want them staying with me. And I don't want to torture my husband by having them stay.

Another thread on this forum is discussing the same thing and @disneysince71 mentioned that her DD was able to get a daypass for her boyfriend.

AND....new answer...
I just called the Beach Club. Well, really the call center for all resorts. I spoke to Arlene, a very helpful cast member. She told me Yes, they are able to come and join us but with a caveat. She said that they will need to be with us but yes they can come in and use the pool and resort with us. We need to have our key to the world cards and get our wrist bands and as long as they are with us, they will be let in. She said that it wasn't called a "guest pass" or "day pass" or anything but just the policy to allow us to have guests. HOWEVER. If the resort is full or if they feel like the pool is close to capacity, then they will not be allowed to join us but could go to the quiet pool. Not the big main pool.

Just go to the front desk and ask for 2 "day guest"
Keys for them to use for the day. They'll be attached to your reservation and can show those to get into the pool. There is no charge for a day guest.

Ive never stayed at The Bc But Ive read that they are pretty tight with Non-guest using the pool do to its popularity.

Pool hoping seems to be (or used to be) a pretty big issue at Bc and AKV...Good luck!!

Your welcome! When you go in Jan, let me know if you have any trouble obtaining a guest pass. I hope that it is a smooth as the 2nd cast member told me it would be.

Thanks! I'm also curious to see how it works with magic bands. If all else fails I can call a contact that I have who works at the BC. I think it would be crazy to not allow relatives or grandparents to use some of the amenities. (Not trying to start a flame war)

Oh...interesting! I had not thought how the magic bands will come into play! Also, I am curious how it is going to work for someone who buys a one day ticket who is not staying on property. My mom is joining us at Epcot one day and she is staying at her time share so i'm curious if she will get one or just a hard ticket. Probably just a hard ticket I would imagine. But OH! Fast passes. Shoot. I just realized she will be with us but how does she make her fast pass choices or is that just for guests who are staying on property. I think its time for a new thread.
