Now to start things off, no this is not a version of the California Ride going into Ellen or ToT, but rather a space that many would be happy to see it! So without further adieu, I present: Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! coming to Walt Disney World Resort July 2017!
Visitors of the Magic Kingdom now have a new attraction they can experience in Tommorowland! Taking the place of the much hated Stitch's Great Escape, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! Will bring a new experience, along with a new look to the main Tomorowland concourse. Guests who have visited in the past will soon realize that the old rock and metal outsides, have all been glassed in to accommodate a new, high tech look. The Gaudy Clip Art-esqué signs are now replaced with classier signs, one labeled "Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor" with the hangtag under saying "It's Laughter We're after" and on the left is a sign saying "Tommorowland Expo Center" with the hangtag "Featuring: The Collector's Collections from Knowhere" but this sign is not as it seems, as you can see what looks like metal is torn out of the sign, revealing the real name of this attraction: "Gyrafians of the Galaxy: Mission: Breakout!"
A small glass atrium (in the current Holding area of SGE) Welcomes visitors to the Tommorowland Expo Center and directs them toward a door marked "Collections of the Collector" where things suddenly turn dim. All around we see display cases of creatures and relics, as we work our way around the now enclosed extended queue for SGE, we see more and more relics and creatures, some of which may be recognized by guests as movie props, and even, at the very end (near where a small patch of rocks are in the current queue) is where Skippy, from previous attractions in the space. Guests make their way back around the edge of the showbuilding, and are then held to see the final exhibition, The Guardians of the Galaxy. Here guests are brought into the place where we once got to see Skippy suspended in- def- initley and see Gamora, Starlord, Drax, and Baby Groot all imprisoned in glass cages, with an animatronic collector standing on a raised platform near a suspiciously empty fifth cage. The Collector begins, "Welcome one and all to my finest relic, the Guardians of the Galaxy, well at least almost all of them... You see, that... finnicky Rocket was to smart for this basic imprisonment chamber, so we had to put him in solitary confinement, we will go see him next... But for now, wait here, until one of my staff members come to escort you" The collector animatronic walks through a door, as you hear a conversation breakout between the imprisoned guardians (also animatronics, but limited motion).
Star Lord: "Did everyone get the jig Rocket left in our cases when he escaped?"
Others: "Yeah"
Gamora: "Ok, guys, as soon as the group leaves with the staff, we will go to the solitary confinement control room, after the staff takes this tour group in. Oh shoot! The tour group, will any of them snitch?"
Drax: "They better not, or else, they'll pay" (cracks knuckles)
CM: "Alright, everyone wishing to view Rocket follow me, and those who wish to bypass this final exhibit should you have young children who are easily frightened, should head down the hallway on the right"
