GoPro sticks allowed in Parks?

Did a search for this and couldn't find anything,
This is the first time I'm bringing a GoPro to the parks with me and mine is connected to the floating grip handle which I like because it makes it easier to use (duh) and I was wondering if that's still allowed after the selfie stick ban.

Here's a picture if you don't know what I'm talking about. I would still consider this hand held but I don't wanna risk taking it if they won't let me bring it inside.
