News Goofy's Candy Company - New Design

Small but noteworthy item per Disney Food Blog:

Goofy's Candy Company snacks now feature a new design. Curiously, these bags remove much of the product-revealing transparent area from previous design, instead opting for artwork featuring Goofy that utilizes most of the real estate.

We are always sure to bring home a few of these treats from every trip, so thought others would be interested.

Limiting visibility into the bag tricks the consumer into thinking the bag is more full than it is, not that people aren't already paying a huge markup for dime store candy just because it is shaped vaguely like a Disney character and was purchased in WDW.

Alas, other than magically making more of your money disappear, they are not. I hear that enough sugar-free gummies can cast quite a spell on one's colon, though.

I miss being able to fill a bag with the individually wrapped pieces of taffy in the flavors I wanted. Now you have to just buy a bag and get whatever they give you. I don't buy the candy anymore.

If I didn't know any better, I would say his character is more so saying:
