Flights and seeing the World...

When i went in 1992 (i was 11), we landed at Sanford Airport (from a Boston change) not Orlando Int. When descending into land we could see out of the windows Wdw, which was really great and combated the pain in my ears.

So my question is does this still happen?? Because i would love as the pain in my ears is pretty much intolerable nowadays, also my girlfriend would love it. I mean i understand if they didn't because of the new security etc. but it would be so cool.

BTW, i go in 225 days! Woooooo!

Oh and thanks for any help

I'm not sure, but if the flight oath is the same, I can't imagine why not.

Yes, the park is still visible when flying into Sanford...I flew in last summer from Allentown (PA). The park is not visible on a southbound approach to Orlando Int'l (MCO).

If you're flying into sanford airport, and are sitting on the same side of the plane, I shouldn't see why not! I don't really know much about Sanford, ie. how many runways they have...this could affect if you see wdw or not, because it depends on which direction you approach the airport from :D
