Final day of the Last Back to the Future the Ride. (Video)

Hello all you wonderful people,
Two weeks ago was a red letter day in time travel. May 31st, 2016. The final day of the Back to the Future the ride in Universal Studios Japan. Though Back to the Future the ride left Orlando in 2007 the future was still going strong in Japan. Though going to the future Hill Valley in 2015 in the year 2016 didn't make to much sense. So the time came to let Doc travel the time circuits of the past and the future, leaving the present.
But, hordes of fans came out to see the final day of the ride, but unlike in the states, they allow you to cosplay. So many fans came dressed up as their favorite characters from the series and obscure characters from the ride. Doc even said goodbye in English and Japanese and jumped into his time machine and drove up into the distance.

I wouldn't be so sure. The simpsons are not popular as they are in the states in Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if they rethemed it to a minon ride. As that whole area has been rethemed to a minion area. But I could be wrong.

The signs are really pointing to Minions taking over the old bttf building.
Though it's pretty sad to me.

I'm still very bitter that this ride is gone from the US parks. It was my favorite.

I love BTTF and I was very disappointed when it was removed. It was my favorite attraction from the first time I rode it. I remember standing in line on the ramps and my goofy older brothers tricking me into believing that we got Marty's jacket and self-lacing shoes.

There's always hope for the future (couldn't resist) since they did bring back Kong. BTTF in the third park could be amazing. Just avoid any 2015 stuff.
