Expanding the Springs

What are the chances that the "Springs" will be expanded once construction around the Edison and the enjoining building is complete. I think it looks pretty bad that on one side of The Observatory you have the clear blue of the springs, but after that it is just the brown water from the lake.

West Side expansion is a very real possibility down the road a ways so no, it's not complete. Nor will it ever be.

Hell, West Side expansion almost happened this time around.

My mistake - it's very easy to confuse the actual Spring with the overall mall.

this is how things are in nature to, you have the clear water of the spring which then feeds into a natural river

if the springs shopping center is expanded at all it would be a redo of the west side but that wouldnt involve anymore actual springs being constructed most likely

No expansion, but they'll certainly address the West Side as others have pointed out. No need to build out when you're better off upgrading/replacing what's already there- something most people on these boards forget all too often.

More phases to come in time on both sides. Some - not much - expansion room to go in the existing footprint. The "spring" water feature as it is in Town Center is complete. There are other features than can be added to additional expansion.

Would that be the parking lot behind Cirque and the old Marketplace bus stops? I am sure that I remember reading that the Marketplace bus stop would eventually be replaced by more shops...

Both are potential expansion areas, yes.

Last I heard, a renovation is coming bringing his current brands to WP, and I don't know the current status on Bongos.
