DVC Luau experience and presentation

We received the following e-mail:

"Dear Family,
In celebration of the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, you are invited to an hour-long Luau experience and presentation that will transport you to paradise with Polynesian entertainment, complimentary appetizers and a tropical beverage. You will also be introduced to the fantastic world of vacations available through Disney Vacation Club. Afterwards, take a tour of the newest and largest Deluxe Studios at Walt Disney World® Resort and the spectacular, over-the-water Two-Bedroom Bungalows. A Disney Vacation Club Guide will also be available to answer any questions you may have about your future vacation needs. "

Has anyone else gotten one of these and attended? Was it worth it?

Well we went ahead and reserved our spot. Free food and drinks sound worth it enough, plus a tour of the bungalows which I will never be able to afford to stay in. We'll let you know what we thought!

Curious if you have attended this yet. We got an invite today and are planning on doing it. Sounds fun and I so wanna see those bungalows!

Yes we did it! It was worth it and no pressure. We got free leis, drinks, food, and a souvenir pin. They put on an abbreviated luau show with some sales talk and videos in between. Then after an hour they split us into 4 groups. We chose the tour only group and were never pressured at all. The bungalows were cool.
