I started thinking about this idea in the thread about "Multiple Space Mountains". I kept thinking about this concept and came up with more details:

The park would be divided into the following "lands" (all of which would be enclosed):

SPACE PORT EARTH -- This would be the entrance plaza to the park and the first "land" when you enter the park. This would be themed as an active space port on Earth. From the windows, you could see space ships blasting off frequently. Tickets for the park and Fast Pass tickets would be called "Boarding Passes". The design of the entire area would resemble an airport, but this "airport" has only one destination: UP (to Space Station Alpha, the next "land"). There would be two ways to get there: Shuttle or Transporter. Shuttle would be a ride similar to Mission: Space. Transporter would be for those who are too chicken to take the shuttle (or don't feel like waiting on line) and would mimick the "transporter" from Star Trek with all the appropriate special effects to make it look "real". This section of the park would be the park's "Main Street", with shops and resteraunts. Also, this port would be home to a science laboratory, where Earthly scientists are working with interplanetary scientists, where one of their "experiments" (Stitch) escapes.

SPACE STATION ALPHA -- From the circlular windows, you could see the Earth below. The station "spins" (an illusion), creating artificial gravity. This is where all intersteller and interplanetary space ships dock. You will see AA aliens everywhere boarding and unboarding space crafts. You could take the Shuttle or Transporter to Space Port Earth. A peoplemover takes guests around to each of the gates, where a different space adventure awaits. Various versions of Space Mountain can be found here, each taking guests to a different planet (more "lands" of the park I talk about below), or the guest could "transport" themselves, if they're too chicken to ride or don't want to wait on line. In any of the worlds, Mission: Space-style rides (or transporters) would return them to Space Station Alpha. Here, you may also enlist with Buzz Light Year for an outer space "spin". Or you may ride an enclosed version of Obitron, while stars surround you.

CORUSCANT (from Star Wars) -- An illusion of a vast, crowded urban world, where building rise up in the miles, is created here. Here, travel agents may direct you to go on Star Tours. You could watch a hillarious musical featuring aliens from all over the Universe. Or you can catch a "sky taxi" on a crazy ride around town. Here, you can also dine with AA aliens.

DAGABAH (from Star Wars) -- This "jungle world" has recently been turned into a tourist attraction. You can explore swamps by taking a Jungle Cruise (Jungle Cruise with aliens). Or you can take a Land Cruiser to explore the forests (same ride system as Indy in DL and Dinosaur).

NABOO (from Star Wars) -- You can explore this beautiful planet of a wide variety of terrains (mountains, waterfalls, etc.) on Soaring Over Naboo. You can see miniturized dolls of the planet's locals and aliens in "It's a Small World (Naboo)"

OUTPOST AT END OF THE UNIVERSE -- Themed to the books by Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", this "spinning" space station is the ideal space tourist destination! At the resteraunt and shops, you can dine or shop, while seeing spectacular special effects of the End of the Universe. The flagship attraction would be a ride that simulate the end and beginning of time, using the most sophicated special effects ever created. Here, only Space Mountain and Transporters take you to and from Space Station Alpha (no Mission: Space type transport here, because this is is a space station).

First off, it's spelled "Dagobah."

You know, I was with you until the three Star Wars-themed lands. That's too many (and this is from a die-hard Lucas fan). One Star-Wars land is enough (preferably an in-door Coruscant... since it's the center of the galaxy, taking a transport to Naboo for Soarin' shouldn't be too hard of a stretch).

There are a lot of interesting space-related lands that can be thought up, like a land with video game-based rides (Metroid, F-Zero, Phantasy Star Online, Wing Commander, ect.).

Or, what about Tron. For a Disney movie, Tron has oddly never been in the parks (other than that Peoplemover Speedroom, but the less said about that, the better). There's so much potential; plus, it's a new style... you know, the look of Tron will set it apart from the rest of the attractions at your park.

Finally, good idea on the Douglas Adams stuff. I'd love to see that get built. Imagine: boarding a ride, and having the safety speil say "For thoes without Babelfish, Here's the speil in Spanish" or something similar.
