Disney's Lonestar Resort

This will be a New Orleans themed area akin to New Orleans Square in Disneyland, but much wider and much more eviler looking. Definitely more of an area meant for evil witch doctors and other dark individuals that dabble in black magic.

Boogie Manor
----- (dark omnimover, similar to haunted mansion holiday)
----- (A year round unXmas version of Disneyland’s overlay, with plenty of similarities to the original Haunted Mansion as well. It focuses more on the villains like big old Oogie, Doctor Finklestein’s and Lock, Stock and Barrel and their storylines from the film than Jack and Sally’s.)

Dr Facilier’s Voodoo Bayou
----- (indoor carnival scrambler, similar to psychodrome)
----- (The evil doc shows us his friends on the other side. Using projections and New Orleans themed music. The songs are random playing one of three Facilier songs from the "Bayou Boogie" CD, an album with songs inspired by “The Princess and the Frog” movie.)

The Headless Horseman’s last ride
----- (family coaster, similar to slinky dog dash)
----- (The horseman has returned to claim another head. Your vehicle goes through covered bridges and dark forests. At a speed that is fast, but not too fast for the youngins. Making it a perfect transition from the kiddie coaster to thrill coaster. A big difference from Slinky Dog though is that the ride mostly takes place indoors rather than outside.)

The Black Cauldron
----- (indoor rollercoaster, similar to revenge of the mummy)
----- (This ride is probably not suitable for children. To tell you the truth the movie probably wasn’t either. Thrillseekers though we’ll love it. It would be the scariest ride that has ever been in a Disney Park theming wise and attraction wise.)

Hades’ Underworld
----- (dark boat ride, similar to maelstrom)
----- (The ride starts off with Hades talking to Pain and Panic about his plans to bring down Hercules. And then he sings about being evil and how “It’s Good to be Bad”. Featuring some of his evil minions from the underworld and the massive gigantic titans that he summons at the end to destroy Mount Olympus.)

The Great Swamp Chase
----- (omnimover, similar to little mermaid)
----- (Shrink down to the size of the mice from “The Rescuers” and see their adventure from the 1977 classic film. Much like Bernard and Miss Bianca you hitch a ride on a leaf being propelled by a dragonfly. In the story our favorite mouse detective couple has to save a little girl from the evil clutches of Madame Medusa. Whose only got bad intentions in mind for her. The mice are very small so everything seems gigantic compared to them… and now you.)

The Voodoo Club

Welcome to an underground table service and separate bar, similar to both Skipper’s Canteen and Trader Sam’s. Besides the array of themed entrees and desserts. You can also get specialty drinks as well, each of which is in their own unique mugs. As an added bonus each drink has their own special announcement and unique effects.



Spook House (quick service)

The setting is a dilapidated haunted house which home to a trio of specters. It is similar in layout to Pecos Bill at Magic Kingdom. But this establishment is based on the one seen in the cartoon “The Lonesome Ghosts”, which starred Mickey, Donald and Goofy as paranormal investigators.



Lock, Shock and Barrel’s (walkup)

A rundown looking toolshed, which serves hot dogs, corn dog nuggets and tater tots

Yep, that's pretty close to it, great job man! For the exact locations though, for the first lands and last lands in comparison to the others. See the layout below in another post.

Each of the parks are laid out similar to Magic Kingdom. So for example Storybook Forest, Gangster Alley and Pirates Cove would be where Adventureland is. Opposite them are Storybook Grove, Sci Fi City and a future Dark Dominion section, which hasn't been unveiled yet.

Madame Medusa is a very underrated villain. You don't see her in the parks very often, in fact I don't think I've ever seen her.

I heard one of the creators based the character after his ex wife. As a way to get back at her.

Yeah, I watched The Rescuers a few months ago. I didn't remember a lot of it. There's some great characters in it of the human and animal and even insect variety.

Both it and the sequel are really underrated. I actually think the sequel even surpasses the first one.

I agree, George C. Scott is awesome as the evil trapper. The movie didn't play down to their often young audience like cartoons seem to do nowadays.

I probably couldn't fit on the ride much like The Mummy, but The Black Cauldron sounds like it could be rad. Disney hardly ever goes that extreme with their coasters, so it would be great for thrill junkies.

Yep, mine too baby. I don't know which is better of the two Rescuer movies. I think I lean towards "The Rescuers Down Under". Because I love the storyline and environment more.

Hades could be fun, he's one of the funniest villains. Especially when he gets p'd off because of Pain and Panic. You can't blame him though, it's hard to find good help.

Interesting mix of villains, honestly I'm not sure how I feel about it. But it seems like a very entertaining land, filled with a variety of attractions.

I think they actually go together pretty nicely, because of the theming of the Underworld and in some cases New Orleans. P.S. sorry for the overly long sentence. hahaha
