[DCA] Pixar Pop-Ups begin Jan. 14th

The new Pixar Pop-Up shows will temporarily replace the Pixar Play Parade, which is on hiatus until November. The pop-ups are free-roaming mini shows themed to different Pixar movies.

The first show begins tomorrow and is titled "The Incredibles: Heroes In Training Squad"

Agreed. It may not be as good as the full Pixar Play Parade, but as a temporary offering it's a rather cute show Some pictures from the Dateline Disneyland update..

The next Pixar Pals show debuts on Fri. this time with Monsters Inc. it appears there will only be 2 Pixar Pals shows, as the Toy Story one was canceled

The second show based on “Monsters Inc.” is scheduled to start Jan. 28.
Disney has canceled plans to run a third show based on the “Toy Story” movies, McClintock said.

Popular Pixar pals from “The Incredibles” and “Monsters, Inc.” are popping up throughout Disney California Adventure park. Replacing the Pixar Play Parade while it’s on hiatus during expansion of Disney California Adventure park, the “Pixar Pals” shows are new, fun-filled, 10-minute interactive experiences that invite you to dance, laugh and test your superhero skills. The first pop-up features “The Incredibles: Heroes in Training Squad.” The “Monsters, Inc.” show will debut on January 28th. Both mini-shows will run throughout the day Fridays through Tuesdays in front of the “ElecTRONica” stage in the entry plaza, and in front of the “Cloud Wall” near the entrance to the Hyperion Theater.

Debuted yesterday almost went under the radar with the Blue Sky Cellar stuff but I like this one a bit better, still no Pixar Play Parade but better than nothing
