I like keeping it as a new thread. It told me right away that there was some news, as opposed to an additional page of opinion of a long, bloated thread that has gone pages and months with nothing new to say. Less likely to open the long one.

I wish TCM would just fully rehab the thing... I think it would also be cool to recreate Disney movie premieres out front as a show. Star Wars weekends could make the theater look like it did when Star Wars premiered there for example. Use the theater as the true icon that it is!

YES this is wonderful, a small but very important ascetic detail. It shows not only commitment to upholding the integrity of the structure, one that was lost during the dark Hat years, but it also demonstrates a reknewed commitment to small details at DHS. Adding these back won't make anyone's trip markedly better, however theming wise and story wise they help a lot. <3

It does add emphasis that they ARE reinforcing the Hollywood theme when they officially rename the park and making the Chinese Theatre the (once again) new centerpiece.

There is something sad about us being excited at maintenance of a show building. And yet here we are.

That will make for an excellent centerpiece for this re-imagined park. Now I think someone mentioned something about them hopefully adding back searchlights? Does anyone know if that is actually happening?
