Hi everyone,

Not long until our next trip. Yay.

Just wondered if any of you would be able to tell me I there is any special moves that the characters will do if you say certain things?

I heard rumours that if you tell the toy story toys " quick andys coming" they have to fall down?

Any thoughts or suggestions as my kids and me would get such a laugh out of this ☺

They don't fall down anymore.

No phrases or actions will make any character do anything. It depends on the CM and whether they are willing to play along.

The most common I see though is if you jump up and down by Tigger he will usually do the same.

Yea, to my annoyance, a boy tried to do this to the green army men in the Studios last week. They didn't play along though because they were in the middle of giving attention to other kids and fans in the actual line.

I know it seems like a lot of fun to be able to do something like that but to me, it just screams attention seeking to me. Like "Oh, look what I can make the characters do!" And then if everyone did it, the characters would never be able to do their job. So I am glad they don't/can't do it anymore because it really isn't fare to the workers and the people seeing them.

My experience is if you want something cool to happen, just be natural and go with the flow. Don't try to force something because the characters may not do it.

I hope I don't sound to mean. I wasn't picking on you (the OP) specifically. I just really don't like the idea of people doing this to the characters.

No that's fine no offence taken, Itwas just something that I'd heard, and I certainly wouldn't want anyone getting hurt or losing their jobs either!!!

We asked about the little Devils at the M&G with Merida, they said they were out causing MAYHEM in Magic Kingdom!!!
The Merida CM was great, she was perfect for the role. My DD had one of the little bears, & they posed for the picture, it was great. The CM taking pics that day got some great shots.

Little personal touches are great. I related my Pepe the King Prawn/Princess Leia story in a Star Wars thread somewhere. But I took a little plush Muppet with me and got his picture taken everywhere (travelocity gnome style) and all the characters loved him. So yea, if you can find something special, personal, or unique to do, that would be cool. Just don't go shouting out commands expecting the characters to do something like little slaves :D

Can you imagine being costumed as Woody or Buzz and doing hundreds if not thousands of "up downs" each shift? I picture a crowd of people taking turns yelling, "Andy's coming" each time the characters stood back up. Most in the crowd being massively obese of course, on their little scooters, stuffing their faces and wearing their spandex shorts, wife beater shirts, dirty pajama bottoms and their favorite NASCAR hat. You know, just like WalMart.

Lol, I get what your trying to say but I kinda think it comes more from the little boys or the dads egging the boys to do it since they are too scared to do it themselves. Little boys (10+) will do things like that because they think it's funny.

I know I would be annoyed if I waited in line to see them and when I got up to them had to keep waiting as people kept yelling at them and they had to stop every 2 seconds.

You know...now that I think about it....the whole ketchup thing in Whisptering Canyon is like that too! Little punks....it's funny when people don't know it's coming. The surprise is what people like. But once people know the joke, then they all have to do it. Seriously...people who don't even eat ketchup do it just to make a scene. I am trying to eat my food....after the 3rd time, you'll get the ketchup when I'm done with it! lol
