Always wanted to do one and thinking of doing one for our August trip (staying at WL).
We walked the trail from POFQ to POR once but really haven't seen much of FW, so we were thinking if we did one to do FW.
Thoughts on this if you've done one would be appreciated. TIA :)

Did it years ago at FW when daughterwas a baby, was a wagon ride more than a than a carriage ride. We loved it, we spoke with another couple that was riding too.

The wagon tour at FW would be the hot ticket in December. The campsite decorations are AMAZING!!! The POR/POFQ carriage ride is very nice. Make sure you make an advance reservation if you can. They are quite popular.

We;ve stayed at POR and POFQ many times and have done the carriage ride twice, one for the Mansions side and one down to POFQ. That ride to POFQ made us want to try that resort, which we have done. It is such a lovely, restful experience that I would do it again. If you want to do the ones at POR you have to book it ahead of time. You can't just walk up and get a ride, at least that was the way it was when we went.
We've never done the FW one, but I bet it would be a good one too:)

@Minnesota disney fan , do you choose in advance which carriage route you’d like to take, or is it decided when you arrive for the ride?

You do have to choose which one you want in advance when you book it. They are both great. We liked the one to POFQ the best which goes down their brick streets with old fashioned lighting (we went in the evening) and loved going through the resort. The Mansion one goes along the waterfront to the end of the mansion area. It showcases their beautiful landscaping and the gazebo where a lot of people propose marriage:) Either one is nice.
