I got my 24 yr old stepson one of those for Christmas. He's told me that if you leave him on his charger without giving him attention for a while he will make sad noises. He feels guilty when he doesn't let BB8 patrol his apartment every day.

The full video of BB-8 meeting Bell, Snow White and Cinderella is pretty good. Bell wanted to know if it was enchanted. I love the initial look on their faces when they saw BB-8. They had to remember to stay in character and not just want to play with him.
