Avengers wrap being removed from Monorail Red

And yet another monorail loses its "D"s

That really bothers me. Is it really that hard for them to paint them on? They did it for years and then one day just decided they weren't going to bother anymore it seems. I feel like I remember seeing one train with just the "D" on one side, or maybe it was just on Cab 1 or Cab 6 and not the other. I could be totally wrong on that one, but for some reason I feel like I saw it a year or two ago and was just baffled. I apologize if I'm not remembering this correctly.

im sad lol...i remember back in early spring reading on here about the avenger wrap being put on and i was excited! we had a trip planned in late april-early may and i was pumped to see it riding above us at epcot and around the world...of course it has to go though. it just reminds me of our last trip there. I wonder what will be on when we return in april 2014?

I don't like this habit of making the Monorails look like city buses covered in ads.

I really hope Disney reconsiders this practice.

But, then again I live in terror every day that Disney will decide to paint Cinderella's castle pink again and cover it in candy some more.

I suspect someone's trying to save on hours and made a stupid call. But this is how things get lost in the cracks. I want to find out more.

Too late for Oz. Iron Man 3 would be like a scaled back Avengers rail. With the bombing of the Monsters Inc rerelease, I don't see Monsters U getting a cover. Flat out NO for Lone Ranger.

Muppets is the next marketable movie I see worthy of a wrap. And that could be fun.

Or the Dia de los Muertos movie. That would be awesome as a wrap. It is several years away though.

NO MORE WRAPS! That's all I have to say.

Couldn't stand the thing and I'm glad it's gone. Waiting at TTC, listening to music from Mary Poppins on the overhead speakers, then the Avengers monorail pulls in and suddenly some post-modern babe from a violent film is pointing a loaded gun at my face. Where am I ? Disney? Universal? Some dystopian nightmare?

Another perfect example of the abondonment of theme. Mixing shiny-happy Disney music with images from the Avengers. Sorry for those who liked it but this was a thematic fail from the beginning.

It's not like they're villains.

Cause Walt never tied in his parks with other media pursuits.

DL has always been a marketing tool.

You guys really haven't heard about the Mocha Rail? They're going to do a green wrap of one of the trains to promote the opening of Starbucks. Saw it on Stitch Kingdom months ago.
