AP Renewal Question

I was thinking of taking a breather from the magic as I have made 2 trips out here in one year. I was thinking of coming back in January again in 2016. my question is... If I don't renew my pass for next year but, come back the year later would I still be under the renewal discount or would it go back to the regular price? I'm pretty sure that they don't have something like this..I just wanted to be sure..

The only way it stays at the renewal price is up to 30 days after it expired. After the 30 day grace period it goes back to the regular price unfortunately. Also the expiration date stays the same anytime in those 30 days after. It will not extend the expiration date if you renew it in the grace period.

AS @sxeensweet said, you can only take advantage of the renewal price within 30 days either way of your expiration date. And unless you are visiting within 45 days or so of the expiration date, you can do better to just get the new pass and tack on the extra time at the end.
