Bookings only open thru January 4th; what is the deal?

Anyone know why Frontier only has flight bookings thru January 4th?

It could be just for the airport you are wanting to fly out of. Frontier is starting to pull out of a lot of airports and when they do they put up the last date of booking for when they are accepting flights through. At least that's what they did here when they were leaving last year (they only accepted bookings through April something or other).
