'sup EPCOT lovers, I'm just poking my head in because for all the lurking I've done I'm pretty sure I haven't actually posted anything since October...and it's been even longer since I was a really active poster (although I have been doing some writing/research on my own about EPCOT and other things Disney).
I have to say, this thread has done wonders in terms of keeping me entertained and up-to-date when I'm feeling an EPCOT hankering--which is a lot these days. I haven't been to WDW in over two years and it's killing me...last time I was at Disney World Jeremy Irons was still predicting the rise of the internet and MILF was just a naughty acronym...
Anyway, keep it up folks. And Martin, your ultimate tributes have been my lifeline in the two years since my last trip..."Communicore to Innoventions" is maaahvelous. :sohappy:

Barbie....
Something tells me there was a story behind the story of Barbie being in Epcot. Like she got there due to some bad deal and she was originally going to be placed in the Magic Kingdom. Not quite sure but I remember hearing something from a NFFC meeting.

Yeah, I have to admit, as much as I love Universe of Energy, I was exaggerating a little. Space Mountain should be awesome if they do it right.

Thinking that way might set a bad precident. Next thing you know they'll give Imagination a new coat of purple paint and sell it as a new attraction.
