Agent Training (AEP) trip report Kingdom Konsultant Travel

This coming week I will be taking most of my agents for an in-depth, customized training session at Walt Disney World. We will be touring hotels, dining facilities and I have a lot of SURPRISES set up along the way that they don't know about!!!

They will be posting in this thread and adding pictures daily.
Those that will be attending from WDWMagic are as follows:
Kingdom Konsultant - Pam
Master Yoda - Richard
DisneyFalcon - Tammy
Xodisneybelleox - Jess
Shoppingnut - Gloria
Polymissy - Missy
GrumpysWife - Jenell
DisneyHeather - Heather k
Wannabebelle - Marie

We may be at a hotel or restaurant that you have always been interested in but still have not tried or perhaps we will be doing some of the many extras that can be booked for our clients that peak your interest.

We start arriving midweek to start our training!!

The bus took us to the Grand Floridian for more tours. We started off in Victoria and Alberts. Before we went in, we got a glimpse of our dinner destination that night – Citricos!

Oh yes the day we went to the Contemporary was the day we were lucky enough to get stuck in the elevator!! Thank goodness it was just for a couple of minutes...LOL That will always stand out when I think of training for years to come!!:ROFLOL: Always remember...never put 11 people in a little elevator

Next we were in for a real treat. Chef’s Domain at Citricos. I’m not a huge foodie, in fact I’m pretty picky. As some point during the weekend another agent who shall be nameless, cough cough Missy, started referring to me as “no vegetable Tammy.” It’s okay, I can deal. So I am not big on paying a lot for meals. Let me tell you, this experience would be worth every penney!

We had our own private room and the Chef was checking on us constantly. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Seriously, from beginning to end it was an incredible experience. We had our own menus!

Ready? Lots of food pics!! I have no idea what some of this was. So sorry! I don’t think anyone was disappointed in a single dish though!

These were brought out for everyone. Duck I think? I was scared but I tried it!

Afterwards, our own private pontoon boat was waiting for us to take us on our Wishes cruise. I’ve done a Wishes cruise before but having a private boat was a step above. I would recommend it to anyone. They had the boat stocked with champagne, cokes (!), chocolate covered strawberries and a whole tray of desserts. It was hard to eat after the meal we had just eaten, but we managed to stuff a little more in.

Wishes from the water is a whole different experience. It’s just really special.

After the show, the boat took us all over the lake while we ate, drank and laughed. It was such a great time.

The boat was a little messier when we got off:

The little sample at Citrico was duck. It has a black rasperry puree an cheese on top and I forgot the other ingrediant but it was really good as was my beet appetizer. They were broiled and it really brought out the sweetness. I also had the shrimp which was awsome and the veal shank which was unbelievably tender!!

Pam,
I really think that it is only fair that next time you treat your agents to a get-a-way you must include the web designer so that Richard isnt the only guy. At least that is my excuse! :D

Great trip report guys. Very jealous.

Tammy, I absolutely LOVE your pictures! Just amazing

Curious, but exactly how much would one of those suites at Contemporary cost? :lookaroun

Thanks, Joanna! Rack rate for the Hospitality Suite is over $1000 a night and it's not even the most expensive one.:lookaroun

Saturday, January 21:

Wild Africa Trek!!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!! This is going to be a ridiculously long update because I took about 600 pictures on the trek. Before you close this thread, no worries, I am not going to post them all! :)

Oh, breakfast first. The lounge is much quieter on a Saturday morning at 7:30 by the way. On our way out:

TrainingPart1450.jpg

We were all so excited, we could barely stand it.

Animal Kingdom wasn’t open yet and it was empty when we walked up.

We met a guide who went over the health requirements with us.

TrainingPart1461.jpg

Then we headed back through the empty park.

TrainingPart1466.jpg

TrainingPart1467.jpg

TrainingPart1468.jpg

We walked back behind the bar and down some stairs through a special exit.

TrainingPart1469.jpg

TrainingPart1470.jpg

We were all taking pictures back there. It’s so exciting to be in an “off limits” area!

We walked through the jungle to a hut where some more guides were waiting for us.

TrainingPart1477b8.jpg

TrainingPart1477b3.jpg

We put our stuff in our lockers. We picked our own locker codes which I entered and instantly forgot. Yep, I was that person. :lookaroun

Heather and Missy are so excited:

The hut also had the dreaded scale (!) to weigh us all and then we were fitted with our gear and given our super cool water bottles and name tags:
