I think they'd have to offer their entire inventory to justify whatever cost it will be. I've already seen on social media the complaints of Disney doing this and charging for it, but who can blame them. They want a piece. Just like they came up with Minnie Vans for a piece of the Uber pie.

It stinks, but I can't blame them. I'll judge it based on cost, content, and ads. CBS wants me to pay $6/$10 per month to watch the new Star Trek series that's always delayed, but I don't think they have the content available to back it up. Disney POTENTIALLY will have me beating down their door at that price. It just depends how much they want to open up the vaults... or maybe even produce original content about the parks?!?!

I know this thread is on life support but I just want to share a quick thought from my MK visit yesterday. First, I had the most efficient monorail experience at opening ever in my two years here. We walked up and saw the line down the ramp, but to my shock, they had both lanes going funneling the crowd left and right. We waited less than five mins for a monorail once the train ahead of us left. Idk if they've always done this (as I rarely go to MK during the daytime) but kudos to whomever put efficiency first!

Second, mobile order is the greatest thing to come out of the MyMagic+! I know people moan about saving labor, well that's a cut I'll gladly support. As someone who despises waiting in line, being able to order in advance and have my food ready was fantastic. We ordered our lunch at Cosmic Rays walking from Mansion, hit the "I'm ready" button as soon as we walked in, and by the time we found a table our food was ready. That's the kind of efficiency I love!
I'm really excited to use it. I use mobile ordering all the time when I go to Chipotle, and it's a lifesaver (the one near my office can get super long lines).

Re the thread being on life support- until Spirit's done posting about his trips, I'm not commenting in the new thread. It's getting a little messy already.

This. Although my high standards would include old Disney Channel shows, TV movies, Wonderful World of Color episodes and new masters of live-action back cataloge titles.

Also for it to be available outside of the USA. Disney Movies Anywhere currently is not.

We may not be able to be web slingers, but if they build this we could all go to Disneyland and be web swingers!

I'm curious with Disney's new streaming service if the entire catalog of Disney movies would be available for streaming. If it means the end of Disney Movies Anywhere that's going to leave some people disappointed as well.
Disney Movies Anywhere is an UltraViolet equivalent that functions as a digital media library and storefront, not a Hulu/Netflix thing. I doubt it'll be affected.

Speaking of systems, do Universall still hold exclusivity of Kuka Arms?
Or any reason of why this system is being used for Spiddie's ride?
I honestly would believe a system like this would benefit an ironman ride.

Lol, fair enough. And I agree that aside form Cinderella greeting you everything else is accurate. But they still plant that seed in a potential customers mind. If a person does enough research they should figure it out

Research? What's that?

You wouldn't believe how many people I see complain that they couldn't eat anywhere or get any FP+ because they figured they'd just do it all when they got to Disney.

Rushing to get construction done should not impact actual material choices.

Actually, in terms of finish choices, like paint, it can. Different types of finish require different amounts of preparations, cure time, etc. Also, they may not have had the ability to weather-test the finishes chosen. Weather testing to some degree is performed by manufacturers, but when you've got weather combined with smog, etc...it becomes a whole different animal. It's sort of similar as to why cars last such a short time in New England as compared to Florida even though they're on the same coast - Florida doesn't salt its roads.
