8-The Apple Dumpling Gang
7-The Journey Of Natty Gann
6-Up
5-Tangle
4-101 Dalmations
3-The Jungle Book
2-Aladdin
1-Toy Story
Now the top ten movies that I saw in the theatres this year. My list is not like the Oscars. I ask myself these questions:
Did the movie follow the trailer and deliver what it promised?
Was I entertained or learn something?
Would I pay to see the movie again?
So Simple..here they are:
10-Zero Dark 30
9-Django Unchained
8-The Impossible
7-Dark Night Rises
6-Moonrise Kingdom
5-Perks Of Being A Wallflower
4-Argo
3-Skyfall
2-The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
1- Silver Linings Playbook
A note about my list, Zero Dark has the best last half hour of any movie this year that is why it is in the 10. However I do not think there is much of a story before that. Just a bunch of frustrated looks and torture. So that is why it is just 10.
Lincoln, very good movie, however lets face it, if it was not for the main three stars it is basically PBS worthy. Masterpiece Theatre.
My biggest surprise of the year was Pitch Perfect. So funny and entertaining, just missed my ten. I know what you are thinking. Trust me..watch it. It can use a little editing towards the end, still a nice surprise.
Sadly no Disney movies cracked my 10.
Well anyway have a wonderful year and thanks for following this year.
