2002 done... 2003 starts anew...

Ok... the 2002 fiscal year is completed for Disney and it's been an interesting year.
Lilo & Stitch did well, but not as good as Disney might have liked.
Signs kicked some serious in the month of August and part of September.
ESPN has continued to be the strongest arm of Disney apparently... with ABC continuing to suck air.
Disney parks had much lower than expected attendance, though certain spikes did help things along during various holidays.

So what can we expect out of Disney starting on 1 October? Predictions? Pull out the crystal ball and tarot cards to see what you see for the new year. ;)

The cancellation of the Disney Club...budget cuts...sugar coated phone calls from Disney explaining why they cut what they cut...

2002 in a nutshell:

Disney lost market share to the competition in all divisions due to fanatical emphasis on the bottom line.

2003 outlook in a nutshell:

More of the same.
