While college football is preparing for its bowl season and the NFL kicks off its playoffs, more than 12,000 kids, parents, coaches and fans will trek to Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex for the Pop Warner Super Bowl Dec. 8-14. National champions will be crowned in five age/size tackle football and cheer squad divisions representing every region of the country. Now in its 73rd year, Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc. involves more than 300,000 team members ages 5-15 across the country. It is the only national youth football and cheerleading organization in the United States.

folks who have been at WDW during Pop Warner say that the parks aren't too bad, but the resorts can be pretty rowdy, especially the pools.

The hotel staff is pretty helpless as far as controlling them goes. You know it is a tough week for them.

Most of the kids are at the All Stars, but some are at the moderates.

I went for cheerleading weekend one year...and I must tell you...I'm a guy...and I even didn't enjoy them  (We were at the All-Stars) and the whole clan was there and it made it impossible to get a bus...we waited for over an hour and a half to get to DD and we missed our dinner reservations because of it.

But like stated earlier...the parks were not that bad.

Well, maybe they should start putting the cheerleading competitions on the same week as the football tourney. You never know... you could start to see those 5-15 year olds hookin up! Babies havin Babies... ohhh yeah!

I was down at the All-Stars the same week most likely. Let me tell you, I've got to Disney at least 4 times when these cheerleading things were going on and though you gotta admit they're annoying I think you're missing the big picture here. These chicks are HOT. Last spring my friends and I were out til between 3-5 AM everynight meeting these young ladies. BUt yes, some are extremely annoying.
