I got ahold of them on the phone last night. I don't know what was wrong the last time I tried. I've checked all of the other towncar and van places that I know about and they do have the best price.

sorry to complain.. but.... we were very dissatisfied with yourride. we requested a town car and were met with a van. the driver said he had totalled the car three days earlier. since we had to pay for a round trip and needed to be picked up at the end of our stay, i didnt make a big deal of it. the driver did not even offer a discount or anything. he did assure us that he would pick us up in a town car on the return. i tipped him 10 %, again because we needed the ride back. but did not intend to tip on the return leg. well, he did send a town car to pick us up, but from a different company. so i had to tip this guy, since it wasnt his fault. also the yourride guy tried to get us to make our shopping stop at a convenience store... he said the markets dont open til 9oo am there. when i balked, he said... maybe publix is open. of course it was open. very dissatisfied with this company. i guess you get what you pay for, since they were the cheapest. i was soooo disappointed though, cause i had thought we were really splurging for the personal town car right at the beginning of our trip. o well, live and learn.

We have mixed emotions about yourride. (I think our stories may be related.) If you want the whole story look for our recent trip report.

We took them March 2003 no problems. Requested a car seat again for this Aug 13 to 22 trip. No car seat. Our driver (Tom, in a caddy) was able to borrow one from Tiffany Town Car. On the way home Tom did not pick us up. It was Mo who did not have a car seat again. We called a cab and 30 min later after we had loaded our luggage in it Mo came back with a car seat. We were really upset, but since the cab's car seat was only a booster and our 2 year old DD needed a real seat we went with YourRide (and it was already paid for.) On the way to the airport Mo explaned that Tom was hit by a car while in MK proptery, someone flew of the median and totaled the car. He was not hurt and there were no passengers in the car (we were really glad about that.) I understand why we had a different driver, but the no car seat both trips was not excuseable.

We contacted them by email to complain, we recived a standard response, with no compinsation on our part stating they would look into it. We have not heard back.

In the past we alway recomended Yourride. I am not sure who we will use our next tirp Jan 2004.
