From the Unofficial guide website:

Details are still being worked out, but we’ve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disney’s Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different “Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think that’ll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, in particular the announcement dates.

Have to take this with a grain of salt because I can't see, even tho most of the resorts are sold out...for them to be offering this during Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Years.

It doesn't make sense to do buy 5 get 2 at the Values, since they are already the worst economical choice for this deal, anyways. I don't doubt Disney is doing this, but I just wonder why. Perhaps since the Values are booking up the most quickly due to the economy?

If you're doing free dining, go for a value. If you're doing buy X get Y free, go for a moderate or deluxe. That's the best bang for your buck.

IF this gets announced, I'm sure there will be blackout dates. I'll be curious to see how crowded the parks are when we're there Dec. 18 - 23.

Well I'm gonna try and investigate this when we go this weekend. Because if it is in fact going to occur it might be something which I would interested in partaking in...

I didn't really look into this as an annual passholder, but I may partake in February or March. How does it work for APs?

If they allow it (there may be a restriction that you may need to purchase tickets for the length of stay) - just buy 1 day base tickets for all members of your party to satisfy the ticket requirement of the package. If others need longer tickets, upgrade at resort check in. Apply the 1 day base ticket to your AP renewal.

Oh crap. :brick:

Now what do I do? I was going to book free dining today for a December trip.

If I book it, will I be able to cancel and change to this deal if it ends up offered next week?

This (possibly) makes me very excited! I may be able to upgrade to a deluxe for my February trip if this is true! Fingers crossed!

(And I tend to believe Len...he seems to be generally accurate)

OK, this has sent me into a tizzy!

I'm leaving in two weeks, wondering how this could affect
my pricing!

10 days, PORS
Magic Your way, Park Hopper, Water parks and more
Free Dining

That's what I have, now.

Wonder if 4/3 is a better deal?

On pins and needles!

(ps: I believe Len and the Unofficial Guide (ding!) as well)

That works for free dining, but I'm pretty sure with this promotion, you have to purchase tickets for every day of your stay. Of course, you could still apply the unused tickets toward your AP renewal.
