Greetings from The Vacation Kingdom of the World! Today I had the opportunity to attend an 'Open Mouse' at the Contemporary Bay Lake Tower. I took lots of pictures, most of which I'll be posting later today. Everything about the new wing is fantastic, with the exception of the generic condo-style exterior. Here's a few pics I took a few days ago to whet your appetite, and I'll be back later today with more:

Where do you check in?

Is there a check in desk in the BLT lobby or do you check in at the main desk at the Contemporary?

I also had the opportunity to attend the "Open Mouse" at the Bay Lake Tower and they told us that check in will be at the main desk at the Contemporary. All transportation will also be from the Contemporary as well.

So excited! We're not DVC members, but we're staying in a 1-bedroom villa MK view on opening day.

Check in as at the main desk in the Contemp.

I was at the Open Mouse this morning as well. Actually I was on the first bus to get there when there was still sun!!

Anyway, totally amazing rooms that I'm sure will bust anyone's points on the DVC. Did you happen to get a picture of "Buzzard Beach?" :lol:

I was there this morning as well - beautiful resort! I took over 300 photos...

The artwork in this resort is amazing, I hope they consider selling prints of some of it. On our way up to the Top of the World, our elevator accidentally went to the 5th floor and the doors opened on this gorgeous print of the monorail - I want!!

The decor is just lovely. We're in the process of deciding on paint colors for the living room, we're actually thinking of using similar colors in the living room.
