Studios is now reaching capacity - not yet at phased close, but close.

I understand from some reports that guests are being parked now at Epcot and bussed to the Studios as the parking lot is full.

Wow! I'm not so sure I would want to be there right now.
Although, this is potentially good news, for Disney at least.

I feel that the big whigs will be taking away from this that they had to host hundreds of thousands of people but got the money (from merchandise) as if it was a much smaller crowd. They'd probably be more likely to take the latter lesson away from this than the former. That people will come even if you don't update.

Don't believe what you hear that if the crowds show up Disney won't add new attractions. That is ridiculous propaganda. Disney knows very well they have to add attractions to remain #1 and they will.

I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't rooting for DHS to hit a phase closing. Do I feel bad for the people there? Of course. That doesn't mean that this isn't a fun spectator sport.

I guess everyone is using a touring plan as DHS is a recommended park today!!! :ROFLOL:
To give those guys some credit, they do rate today at 10/10.

Hope not.

Jt, MK has been the #1 attended Park in all the world, and we haven't got a major addition in 17 years. I'm not saying things aren't coming, but it sure doesn't seem like they're too preoccupied with adding things there.

As a matter of fact, we've lost tons of attractions at the park. There's less to do now than there used to be.

YEAHHH! I'm with you on that. :lookaroun

Still, this has come as a bit of a surprise. If this was April 1st, I'd swear this wasn't true.

Um, I think they have been adding to the other parks to draw people away from the MK. So far it isn't working. I think they will have to double their efforts. Mysterious Island anyone?

It's gonna take a lot more than that. MK needs something new. A people eater that will increase capacity. It needs Mermaid, and it needs it now.

Ugh. That is the last thing they need right now. MI at AK, E ticket for WS, reimagined Imagination and Energy, new E ticket for Seas. That is what is needed and then LM.

Sorry, jt. Can't agree with you. MK needs something new. Imagination or MI will be the first(if any) of those projects to be green light. UoE...I wouldn't hold your breathe. And same for the Seas.

MK is stale. I know, I know you hate to hear it, but it's true. Something major needs to be added, and fast.

Indeed. It also needs something to hold all these incoming guests. Can you imagine the summer with SM closed?

No...and I'm going back for another CP in August. I can't wait to see what Frontierland will look like with the only other thrill rides in the park right freakin' next to each other.

Personally I hope MK is a mess this summer. Maybe it will show how desperately the park needs more.
