Thanks for the pics!

Does anybody know how long this M & G is going to be there? And what characters are there (I'm assuming Pinocchio and Jimmy Cricket)?

AWW! I don't care if it's a blatent ad for the DVD, I want to see this. I hope someone gets video of this because I doubt it'll be there when we get there in October.

Getting older characters out and about is always a good thing. And what at Disney isn't designed to get you to part with your money?
Ride photos? Check!
Rides emptying into stores? Check!
DVC kiosks on every corner? Check!

Hey, if selling all that crap keeps park tickets from reaching over $100 a person or worse... bringing back the (shudders) TICKET BOOKS! I'm all for it

No Jiminy Cricket, just Pinocchio. Pinocchio has always been out daily in Town's Square, he's just been moved from over by Exposition Hall to his marionette garden set in the tour garden next to guest relations. That means that Daisy is now over by the flag pole with Pluto and the Chipmunks have been moved over by the fire station.

I was hoping they might put some different Pinocchio characters out there but I'm okay with just Pinocchio.

I agree! It doesn't matter to me if it was a marketing campaign (as most of fantasyland has been historically anyway), it's a welcome addition to the area.

It's a nice set-up. For some reason, the style of it reminds me of something we'd have seen out of Disney in the late eighties or early nineties (which to me isn't a bad thing). There's a small procenium arch on the back wall, framing the actual greeting area. It's flanked on both sides by marionettes with some mechanical animation. There are banners along the sides with pictures of different puppets from Pinochhio, and lights have been strung along the top of the area. The BGM has changed to selections from the Pinochhio soundtrack. Very well done.
