Soft openings are generally a "walk by, if it's open, ride..." kinda thing. No announcements, no signs, it just is or isn't up and running.

Oo, neat, here's hoping 
I was really thinking lately - what else can they do? I don't know what's up in the sphere, but we know the vehicles are there, the screens work, the audio seems to work, the post show is pretty much complete, the landscaping is done, and the signs are all installed - even the safety warnings.

Wasn't the problem rumored to be with the interaction areas of the ride (the touch screens and the supposed face-projection technology)?

Dang, what are they gunna do during the xmas to new years stretch, hopefully theyll have it open for previews to take the heat off the other rides, i wonder if wonders of life will be open at that time this year again with body wars and cranal comand

I have a sinking feeling that they'll do this before the major Xmas push, or during the late evening hours (post 6pm) so incase it does go down 10000 angry people won't storm Guest Relations 5 feet away...

From the SSE CM's i've talked to in the past, the worst is if they have to evac the ride, as most of the guests pop out at the doorway right across from Guest Relations.

i was going to ask the sameee, last year on new year eve ,epcot was a mess 180+ min for soaring ,test track, MS but was a great day ,so im going to repeat it this year, but without sse and body wars i cant imagine the crowds :brick:
