The second thread in the series of favorite attractions in each park to determine the ultimate, favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World. Just like with the MK poll, the top three choices from this poll will move on. Although with a lot fewer 'popular' attractions in MGM, I doubt it will be as hotly contested.

Also, if you haven't voted on the MK poll, make sure to do so now: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=198495

What did you vote for, and why?

I just don't care much for MGM since it's very small and doesn't have much to do anymore. I simply go in the evening to ride RNR, ToT then see Fantasmic. That's about all that's interesting to me.

I'd have to say, The Great Movie Ride.
Don't get me wrong....I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tower of Terror. And RNR is fantastic as well. Star tours....I enjoy it, but LOVE the queue and gift shop.
But, The Great Movie Ride (to me) has the most effort put into it, and really seems to be what a Disney Ride is supposed to be. Big ride. Fantastic props/scenes. Good clean fun.

Of the choices above, I pick RnRC. But my favorite things about DS are the streetmosphere performers and eating at 50s Prime Time

I used to like MGM a lot more, but it has been so long since they did a refurb on anything. But moving on from that...

Favorite old attraction: Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

Favorite new attraction: Lights Motor Action

Would love to see a refurb on: Great Movie Ride, Muppets and Back lot studio tour.

I voted for ST because it's one of my 8 year old's favoriates. She's not into thrill rides and this is one that she can go one and not be scared to death.

Other thank that. I don't really have a favoriate ride at MGM. We can't do TOT or RnRC, all the shows have been there, in the same form, since the first time I went to the Studios in the early 90s, and the only things that have been changed weren't changed for the better (Animation studios, Backlot Tour). I honestly just go there for Fantasmic and the cobb salade at the Brown Durby.

Muppets 3D got my vote, I'm not into the thrill rides ToT or RnRC - and Muppets makes me laugh every time. The pre-show in Muppets is a classic, Gonzo is brilliant :D

Tower of Terror, natch :)

RnRC is a fairly close second - hope that rehab rumor is wrong 'cause it will be a real spoiler for my Sept. trip

Definately GMR. It's long, fun, and I just feel immersed in the films scenes of the attraction. I do love RnRC, but if I had to pick one over another, GMR would definately win.

However, I love Disney Studios in general. I love the themeing of the park and just enjoy feeling like I stepped into old school Hollywood.

I also absoultely love the Osborne Family Lights festival. Soooo cool! :-D

Out of the most thrilling, ToT is hands down the best ride. The themeing is just on point 110%. The ride lasts longer than 1 minute lol. Disney really did a great job with this one. The look, the feel, the smells, everything about it from the time you walk in the hotel, until you walk off of the elevator really makes you feel like its real.

Out of the more tamed rides at MGM I'd have to go with The Great Movie Ride. Its just a classic, that they can never get rid of...they can refurb, but never get rid of this ride. I love it!

And those are among the things I like least about Disney-MGM (LMA and Narnia are worse). Go figure...

ed: And GMR and Muppetvision get my votes for the best, but I went with GMR by a hair or two. To me, though, this is still a full day Park.

Ain't that the truth! :ROFLOL:

Now that they added LMA, I don't even want to go to DMGM. I voted for ToT. It's such a great ride and it's nice to see a 'free-fall' type attraction Disney-fied.
