I have a bit of a problem. I'm locked out of my original account for some reason (Hence this new account, which I know is generally frowned upon). While I can still supply my password for the original forum identity, it gives me the error message that reads
"You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
Compounding the problem is that my email address has changed since I registered my username. What's more, I created this new account with a slightly different name, since I feared I was locked out of the original. I would happily delete the newer one if I can get back into the old one.
If I provide enough details of the account to verify my identity (via PM), and if I haven't done something to merit being suspended (and I honestly don't recall every doing anything that could have fit that bill), could I possibly be reinstated?
Moderators, please feel free to PM me if you can work your mod mojo and help me fix this problem. I do really hope you can help me with this issue, but if not, I'll be happy to stick with my new username and just let the original be deleted. I'm just really keen on the original one, and I'd like to use if when I become a site subscriber.
