I am going to post something that will probably get me some neg rep points...


There are some amazing pics here...but I think some of the entries appear to be "focused" on the Castle... which conflicts with the rules for this particular contest. It doesn't take away with how amazing or magnificent the pictures are though....

I imagine it is all in how one interprets "focused"....


Not like it really matters, since this is just a chance for us to share pictures that we particulary like :)

To defend their argument, they're not really complaining about other people's work in particular. They're simply pointing out that some of the photos don't fit the guidelines, which specifically state not to focus on the castle. I'd have to agree with them in this case. Focusing on taking great pictures is good! But for this contest, you need to pay attention to the rules, too.

It's good to see that people still have enough time on their hands to complain and moan about the complaints people make about other people's work.

Come on guys, this was supossed to be fun. Submit the photo and let the powers that be decide what follows and what doesn't follow the rules.
So far I have to say they are all pretty good pictures. :wave:

I like this one, because it has my wife in the photo. A dandy wife with the Dapper Dans. :lol:

It never hurts to score brownie points with the queen!

Had a difficult time picking one from my shots. But in the end I went with a bit of sentimental reminiscence. The always fondly remembered Bub Thomas:



He was there the first time I ever wandered down Main Street and his spirit will always be there. :)
