I don't know if I would say "far"

You don't want to ask me on this one, do you? :lookaroun

Through my time on this forum, I have learned that alot of people are open to suggestions such as this, but the fact that this effort popped up so late and when I say late-I mean WAY TOO LATE.

The show had its demise set in stone, as it did when the show's popularity declined. The attraction's life is ending soon, no matter what...So my advice to you is if you really are so desperate to see the show one last time, plan a trip to Disney the week of August 19th and go to Millionare. Go to the park early and run to the show so you can attempt to play (If you are old enough ).

Sorry to hear your dreams have been shattered, but a higher aim might help... :lookaroun

Help me save who wants to be a millionaire...

Why?
I believe it has run its course.

But then again I've never been a big fan.

Is it your dream to be rude to people? Congratulations, your dream has come true. Everyone has a different dream. I have a friend who has wanted to be the host of "Jeopardy" since she was 17. It's no one's place to tell her she can't wish/dream something. This thread truly proves how low people can be sometimes. You're welcome to believe whatever you want about her dream, but by posting it here you're being incredibly insensitive. You can insult the attraction all you want, but when you start insulting her, you've really stepped over a line. Way to treat a new visitor. She may never come back now. Very Disney of you.
Yep.
I've never won an award for courtesies and/or niceties.
Brutal honesty has always been my policy.

Hey everyone! I am the one who originally posted the e-mail to either help me save the attraction, or at least be able to live my dream of at least hosting it once!! Some of your comments about it have actually hurt me pretty badly and especially hurt my dreams:cry:. As has already been said there is a LOT of empty space in MGM, so WHY take out an attraction that still fills up to capacity everyday to put something new there while still leaving the ABC theater, Hunchback theater, and several soundstages completely EMPTY?!?!?!?!?!? That is sort of STUPID don't you think?? I have already applied as a cast member online, but like I said it could only be seaonal because I live 10 HOURS AWAY!! I don't know if that will help me in wanting to host it or not but if anyone thinks it will please help me get this to someone higher up in Disney. Remember these Are MY DREAMS, and I know you all wouldn't like it if someone crushed your dreams!! Just remember that when you are bashing someones future career hopes and dreams!!!! Anyway to those of you who are in support of trying to at least hlep me get there or get Disney to simply re-locate the attraction you can join as a friend of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Play It! on myspace and leave me messages and comments!! Go to myspace.com/millionaireplayit or myspace.com click search click display name and type Who Wants To BE A Millionaire? Play It! then add it as your friend. Thanks!

Your dreams stink :animwink:

My dreams are to be the one who gets to tear the Millionaire stage show apart. My dreams are for Disney to shut this snoozefest down now and start on the new ride. Do you think Disney management and Imagineers had a meeting and that it went something like this:

MANAGEMENT: Shut down Millionaire and put in a Toy Story ride.

IMAGINEERS: But, 20 people still go to see Millionaire. It is huge and popular still. Never mind that CMs have to practically drag people in by gun point. Millionaire is huge. Now, Sounds Dangerous, we need to get rid of.

MANAGEMENT: Once you close Millionaire and build this new Toy Story ride, we will let yo do what ever you want with Sounds Dangerous. DEAL OR NO DEAL????

IMAGINEERS: great new concept.. DEAL OR NO DEAL - PLAY IT!!!!!! Oh by the way, a member on WDWMagic has dreams of hosting Millionaire, just once.. Can we save it for her?

MANAGEMENT: With a dumb idea like that, you need to go work for Universal.

First of All I am a HE not a she... Second of all all I am doing here is trying to live out my dreams and to those of you who are in support of me thank you!! And to those of you who aren't I want you to compare bashing my dreams to bashing your own childrens dreams!! :fork:How Does it Feel?? :mad:You should be ashamed!! And whoever said that My dream should be a little higher than a Disney cast member I'll just have you know that disney is a top of the line compnay who trains there employees to be top notch!! And by the way what do you do fr a living?? A lawyer or something??? No thank you!! I would rather spend my day in the happiest place on earth having FUN!!!! Not at some desk doing paperwork or in a courtroom. To those of you who support me don't forget to add me as a friend at myspace.com/millionaireplayit . And I will also be 18 on August 14 5 days before the attraction closes. So age should not be an issue in my dream to host!
Thanks

I think its great that you have dreams, we all should have them. However it may be best for you to come to terms with the fact that this one more than likely will not happen.

Had you possibly attempted to launch this "campaign" a year or so ago, then you might have some how gotten in contact with someone in management over at MGM or something and been able to work something out.

But to jump in a random forum roughly a month or so before the attraction closes and expect to get anywhere is a HUGE stretch. Many people here are simply speaking in realistic terms, however I do agree some people are being a bit harsh with it, its still based on truth.

Also I'm sorry to say but having a page on Myspace and having people add you as their friend accomplishes absolutely nothing outside of making you feel more important by having lots of friends. Not to be insulting, but thats all Myspace is, a popularity contest, it offers nothing to your cause nor will having lots of friends stop the attraction from closing.

Maybe you really should concentrate your dreams elsewhere. Millionaire is going bye bye. The sooner you can deal with it, the better off you will be.

I'm sorry that you feel so offended, but everyone on this thread is right in telling you that this isn't going to happen. One suggestion I have for you so that you can at least live out your dream once, is go to the service desk at MGM early in the morning or call them ahead of time and tell them about your dream of hosting and see if they will let you. That is the best advice I can give.

Just a bit of a warning for you, never expect to get a fully positive response on subjects like this, and don't be offended when you don't get that positive response you crave.
