    it's a small world queue.

    After hours event

The After Hours events are worth every penny if you plan to make the most of it. I did the MK After Hours with a friend in August 2018, and we had the time of our lives. We rode every single attraction and went through every meet and greet at least once, and the crowd level was incredibly low...

    Nomad Lounge - how busy?

I find it is very hit or miss. I've been in when it was practically empty, and I've been there at the same hour when it was very crowded. However, I've typically always been able to get a seat somewhere within a few minutes even on the busiest days, especially with a small party. It's one of my...

Grand Floridian Spa - Appointment in Advance?

I've been able to get in on short notice, but I find the availability there to be unpredictable. If you know you want it, I would book well in advance.

    Is Le Cellier worth it?

I will add another vote for Yachtsman. The steaks are far superior in my opinion, and it's a better dining experience overall. Less crammed and excellent service/food. Le Cellier is good, and I enjoy it. However, if I'm paying out of pocket, I feel like I get more for the money at Yachtsman.

    Issues with Website/App for Reservations

Is anyone else having lots of difficulty getting the dining reservation page to load on the website? 95% of the time, I get the Stitch page saying that someone ate the page. Also, when it does load, it often isn't showing the calendar correctly for what's available. For instance, just now, it...

Undercover Tourist Tickets - Any experienced purchasers out there?

I can't recommend them highly enough. I have never had anything but flawless transactions, and their e-delivery service is really nice. I've also had many friends use them upon my recommendation, and they have all been extremely happy.

Be honest, how weird is it for a male to go on Solo trip?

I'm 40 and have done it several times. I didn't find it odd at all, and I never felt out of place or like an oddball.

WAIT TIMES @ Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

From my experience in the past, many of the less popular attractions are walk ons, especially later in the evening. More popular attractions seem to hover between 20-45 minutes, and again, the waits get substantially shorter as the night goes on. If it's a sold out night, expect more substantial...

Flight of Passage: People of size be warned

Agreed. In the note I sent Disney, I felt the cast member was not adequately trained to teach me how to get into the seat. The cast member outside in the hall when I had to exit verified that he felt I should have fit and offered to help me try again. However, by that point, I was done. As for...

Flight of Passage: People of size be warned

Yes, they even had a waiting area outside the doors of the theater where I could have waited for my party, and I would at least try it. If it's tight, maybe you will have a cast member that is more willing than mine was to give the pad a good push. I hope they will eventually either get some...

Flight of Passage: People of size be warned

I agree, and certainly, not everything can be tailored to every body type. My hope is simply that they could find a way to address this such that people don't stand through the entire line and VERY long pre-show only to have that type of experience. A test seat or something along those lines...

Flight of Passage: People of size be warned

If it were any park but WDW, I would not be surprised. However, Disney typically seems to go out of its way to avoid it. Regarding the fit, It's hard to say exactly because I'm not sure exactly where I would have needed more room for it to have locked. The restraints are a back pad and leg...

Flight of Passage: People of size be warned

I have not seen a thread about this yet, but I did the Annual Pass Preview of Pandora tonight. While I was generally enthusiastic about the land, I was not able to ride FoP because the restraint wouldn't reach its required stage of locking. I have no issues on any other "tight" rides at WDW so I...

Christmas at the Poly or WL?

I think it depends on what you want. If you want decorations and Christmas spirit, WL hands down. Stunning decorations that others have posted pictures of, and the lodge gives a nice feeling of winter--even if the temperatures outside betray it. If you want the bigger rooms, Poly definitely...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

I have always felt that a resort fee is included in astronomical hotel prices, and for that reason, I have sucked it up and often stayed on site. However, to add a resort fee would just add insult to injury with the current hotel rates. They are truly trying to price themselves out, I guess.

Tell me good things about 4th of July week....

I will add another positive post for July 4th. We have gone that week for almost the past decade. Yes, it is hot, and yes, it is crowded. However, it's not awful or unbearable. I would recommend seeing the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom or from one of its surrounding venues on July 3. I've...

    Disney Scented Candles!!

I noticed they are already dissolving the association with Disney. C&D must have been issued. They are now called "Whimsically Inspired" or something to that effect. The castle/Disney name is gone from the labels, and since this afternoon, the names of the candles are now being altered as...

    EPCOT dining: recommendations wanted!

I would add another vote for Garden Grill. The food is surprisingly good, and the two times I have been there, the character interaction was generous. Out of the others you list, I would suggest the Biergarten. One of the better buffets with more original food, and the entertainment is...
