My July 2015 plans... are they too ambitious?

Hello! In 18 days, my parents and I will be heading down to WDW for a week! And since I am the resident Disney nerd (though my parents are big fans, planning is the task they leave to me) I have been working on the week's plans. I am not sure if I am being too ambitious because I know I have to...

    July 2015 Flight questions

Ok thanks for the help, we ended up buying a much earlier flight than we initially wanted (depart 6 am lands around 8:30am). We won't have a park ticket that day, but I'm sure we can find something to do

    July 2015 Flight questions

We are trying to book our flights for our July 2015 trip, but currently there are not many ideal flights left. Are flights added as time goes on or would it be best for us to book a flight now? Also, has anyone had any experience with US Airways?

What makes you cry at WDW?

Quite a bit gets me crying at wdw, but the thing that got me on my last trip was the "welcome home" sign over the entrance at AKL. Just that comforting feeling of being at home is something I love so much about wdw.

    Toy Story 4

Not a big surprise, but is another one really necessary? I guess having Lasseter directing it gives me some hope.

What movie have you not seen?

I've never seen Toy Story 3. I don't think I could make it through the final woody/Andy scene. It'd be like watching my own childhood end. Maybe I'm just thinking too much about it.

    I'm Over It

I know this is overkill, but I just have to rant finally about this. I don't think the issue for me is that it seems to be everywhere, but that fact that it is being hyped up into this Disney classic. It's a cute movie and Elsa is pretty awesome. Let It Go, besides Menzel's singing, is kind of...

Little Mermaid ride, what ticket would you give it?

I voted it as C ticket. I do enjoy the ride, but there is nothing exciting about it really. It's fun and colorful, but is there really anything that makes it a must-do? In my opinion, unless you are a big TLM fan, it's ok to miss it. This isn't a great representation of Disney's dark ride...

Pin Trading......Fun or Waste of Time?

I collect and occasionally trade pins, but I'm not really hard core about it. When I am in the shops, I'll see if there are any pins that I want as souvenirs. If I have one that I don't really like as much anymore, I'll plan to trade it, just for the fun of the pin trading. Also, I don't...

    Anna & Elsa YouTube video.....

Oh My God Donald Duck. It is actually kind of sweet that parents wait for hours for their kids to "meet" their idols. Insane and ridiculous, but sweet.

    Queue Better Than The Attraction

ToT - The ride is fun on its own, but the creepy queue builds up the nerves which makes the ride all the more thrilling.

    Jealous of Disney "newbies?

I actually love that I know what I know about the parks. I like that I don't need a map to walk around and that I know which attractions I like and what are worth waiting in line for. I feel like being a newbie is all about finding your way around WDW and trying everything. That can be really...

    Best song for your trip?

"One" from A Chorus Line! On my trip in January, my parents and I stayed at ASMu and whenever we passed the Broadway section, my mom and I would just start singing it! It was the song of our trip!

Disney in July (after the 4th)

The afternoon break saved us in July! We seemed to stay away from the heavy crowds by doing this and managed to not be exhausted from the sun and heat.

Elsa and Anna Meet and Greet

I really wanted to meet them, but when we got to Norway (about 4), the 4:30 line was full, the 5:30 line was full, and the 6:30 line was starting to fill up. I know their M&G was popular, but wow. I at least caught a glimpse of Elsa while I was walking away.

Elsa and Anna Meet and Greet

Norway in EPCOT, but beware: the waits have been kind of insane. If meeting them is a complete necessity I suggest you get there to WS at opening and get on line!

    First meal at Disney

Last trip, we went to Ohana for a late dinner on the day of arrival. Getting to see glimpses of the castle got us all the more excited for our next day in MK. In July, our first meal was breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Now that is a great way to begin a day in the Magic Kingdom!

    Frozen on Broadway, what?

This story would be great as an live musical. I would be interested to see how they do the ice effects onstage.

    OHana- Breakfast or Dinner????

I have never done breakfast there, but have done dinner the past two trips and it is ridiculously good! My mouth is watering just thinking about the food there! But eat light the day of so you can be sure to eat as much as you want for dinner and not get stuffed after the welcoming bread and...

    Whats your favorite Disney park?

The Magic Kingdom is just so wonderful. It is Disney to me. The view of the castle at the end of MSUSA is incredible and the overall feel of that place is just "home". MK is certainly my favorite, but the more I go to EPCOT, the more I love it and feel it catching up to MK on my list of favorites.
