Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway SPOILER Thread

Definitely the only thing that I found to be a negative were the exposed ceilings, though I’m not exactly sure how some of them would have been done successfully. Some were noticeable and some weren’t. But overall this is a great ride and the song was stuck in my head all day. Also, I rode in...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The water will come from tanks under the boats. The lake water is not clean enough to spray all over dancers, and possibly on guests.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

I believe they're just removing the switch tracks. The trolley will remain. They're using the large blue wagon with two horses for the trolley show in the meantime.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Something I haven't seen (but is certainly possible that I missed), do we know what this theater is going to be called? Fantasmic is in the Hollywood hills amphitheater, World of Color is in Paradise Park, so I wondered if this one had a name?

New castle show Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire to open this summer at the Magic Kingdom

The show has been scheduled to open on June 17 for quite some time. Whether that holds or not is of course up for grabs, but as far as I know the rehearsal schedules have been made for many weeks.

DHS Makeover - What we know so far.....

Take the arguments elsewhere, ladies. This is beyond a thread drift and you can argue this stuff via PM and spare the rest of us, deal?

Major 2015 Pirates of the Caribbean Refurbishment Watch/Rumor.

That's excellent news. Only one was on in the fire scene on the day it officially reopened. The clouds were always my favorite detail as it really gave the illusion of a sky instead of a black ceiling with visible air vents.

Major 2015 Pirates of the Caribbean Refurbishment Watch/Rumor.

Just rode... The ride looks and sounds great. I was in the front and had no water issue, though the bottom of the boats were indeed wet. The only negative to me was that while the new lighting looked amazing on the show scenes, it was bleeding onto the ceilings and made them more visible than...

What else could be announced for Hollywood Studious at D23 Expo event in Japan

Details about the two expansions seem a given. And the odd new hotel they're making (it is quite a haul away from TDR). There is supposedly a new large theater being included in the Fantasyland expansion, which they could announce the show for.

Broadway-Style "Frozen" Show Coming to DCA - Any impact on WDW?

...Stateside. Pop over to Tokyo and the Hyperion suddenly looks like a warehouse converted to a theater.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

The stage has been functional for a while. They've been rehearsing on it often already. They don't need the forecourt to be done to rehearse.

DHS Makeover - What we know so far.....

That is the first I've heard of new IP for the theater...and I LOVE that plan. Fingers crossed.

Enclosed theater...music to my ears. Let it be so!

DHS Makeover - What we know so far.....

This isn't correct. The union requires only a two week notice for closing a show, and if two weeks isn't given, they must still pay two weeks salary to any cast and staff let go. Ask anyone on Broadway. Or in American Idol at DHS, haha. They certainly had no idea their show was going to be...

2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

I'm vegetarian and I never have a problem. Also, there are handy green "V" icons next to any item that is vegetarian, so you will not have to bother worrying about the ingredients or asking. Vegan is a different story...but the all-vegetarian booth has usually been all-vegan in the past.

The Shanghai Disneyland effect on our 3.5 billion

I definitely don't foresee any huge financial pains because of Shanghai, but you never know. They obviously didn't think Paris would flop either, and there are certainly enough people within three hours of THAT resort too. And as for once the ground is broken it will be completed...don't forget...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Sorry, I was only speaking to the tech of the show. I think it can be fairly said that what they accomplished on movable boats is impressive in almost every way...mist screens, fountains, telescoping 360 degree LED screens, performers, inflatables, and projections. And it all floats away into...
