    Latest Wilderness Lodge map

Hi was on a chat this morning with a Disney cast member and I had them send me the link to the latest Wilderness Lodge map. It shows Boulder Ridge, Copper Creek, and the cabins, along with room number ranges for all. Thought I'd share it...

Now that AK is a full day park, where's the best dinner option?

Definitely Yak and Yeti. A nice selection of food and appetizers. The Fried Wonton is my favorite dessert in the park. Also a very interesting place to roam around, lots of artifacts to look at.

Where can I watch The Game at noon?

How about streaming the game live to your phone or tablet while in the parks. There are plenty of free and pay services. This link should get you pointed in the right direction: http://broadcastinglivesports.com/ohio-state-football-live-stream/ Also, if you have a Cable TV provider at home...

    Best Snack at Disney World?

I don't know of any other place than the AK Lodge that has them, but Zebra Domes are fantastic.

Reaction To Losing Something At WDW

Years ago I lost a camcorder battery in Epcot and someone turned it in to lost and found. That was a nice surprise to get it back. Another time I lost an SD card in Festival of the Lion King while switching to a new card. It had all of the MK and Epcot photos and videos from the previous two...

    Monorail to Wilderness Lodge

Jack, it doesn't add to the theming at the other resorts either. That's all I'm commenting on. As far as convenience, it would definitely give an alternate means to get to other resorts and to MK, probably easing the bus and boat crowds in the process. Personally I enjoy the boat rides and would...

    Monorail to Wilderness Lodge

I agree with those who say it would ruin the theming. It would be like moving a Tomorrowland attraction into Frontierland. It just wouldn't fit.

    Favorite "add on" entertainment

Did the Keys to the Kingdom tour a couple years ago. That was excellent. We were lucky enough to be backstage when the Main Street Parade was just rolling out. It was cool watching all of the CM's just being themselves until they hit that "Line of Sight" line and instantly got in character. We...

What ONE ride in each park could you ride all day long?

I feel your pain. I've been trying for years to get a good shot of the Lions and either just missed out on a nice shot or it was too fuzzy from the motion of the truck, or they just weren't visible during the ten second window that you have to get a shot. Then, lo and behold, in 2014 during our...

What ONE ride in each park could you ride all day long?

MK- Early in the trip- Buzz Lightyear Later in the trip- People Mover(a chance to rest weary feet) Epcot- Test Track HS - Toy Story Mania Animal Kingdom - Festival of the King. (not a ride, but hey, that's my choice)

Travel between the Poly and Wilderness Lodge

Personally I like the Poly to the Comtemporary idea, but that being said, my wife and I have spent many a night in December waiting on that Contemporary boat dock in the cold, wind and rain for a boat. It doesn't have a covered shelter like the Poly boat dock, just a couple of umbrellas. If...

Wilderness Lodge Views (while under construction)

Courtyard view should be nice. Got an upgrade to it one year. I personally like a little more privacy, so i get the standard or woods view. Standard is nice if you're on the fifth or sixth floor. View of the fireworks and high enough above the service parking lot. Also, the smokehouse for the...

    MK itinerary too ambitious???

You may want to allow more than an hour for the Crystal Palace character breakfast. A lot of people gather for the early morning breakfast there, especially if it's on a morning where the park opens at 9:00a.m.(photo opportunities down Main St and the Castle without all of the crowds in the...

Trip Report CrazyDisneyLady is at it again live trip report starting Saturday Sept 19th

That's quite an improvement. The targets on the Volcanoes in the back are good for plenty points also. My wife and I compete for who pays for lunch or dinner when we do Space Ranger Spin (don't know why, since we go on the Dining Plan). I'm enjoying your trip report very much. Thanks for the effort.

Trip Report CrazyDisneyLady is at it again live trip report starting Saturday Sept 19th

Wanna run that Space Ranger Spin score up. Aim at the target underneath Zurg. You'll have to do it from an angle coming and going, because the gun won't swivel far enough down to shoot once you get right up on it. It helped me get 999999. Good luck and have fun.

Thank you for the excellent trip report. Sitting here at work following your exploits is almost like being there. My time will come in December.

What are your biggest park regrets?

Not going sooner. I didn't go to Disneyworld for the first time until I was 36 years old for our honeymoon. We've been every year since, but man, to see it as an actual kid and not just a big kid.

    Post Something You Miss

Is that the Mickey butter? I had forgotten all about that. Well, let's see, some things I miss. I miss the gold key card from when you could go on the Gold plan. I remember getting ushered to the front of lines at the restaurants if I had the Gold Card in my hand. Although I don't miss the large...

What do you miss from the old Disney parks???

We go every year in December, so I miss when the MVMCP wasn't so crowded. I also miss when the Osborne Lights were in the backlot area. I also really miss the lighted archway from Future World to the World Showcase in Epcot. To go positive for a second, I do like the main st lights mounted to...

I called about Disney Dollars and was told 4 to 6 weeks??

We ordered the personalized gift cards for the three grandkids. We chose a Christmas border and we put a photo of each grandkid on their card. It also comes with a very nice card that the gift card is attached to and envelope. You can customize the card with your own greeting. It cost 6 bucks...
