:xmas: Just thought I'd let everyone know that we saved $135 just by calling in on the discount promotion recently offered in the last few days. We actually booked our late December trip last February, but this new promotion allowed us to save dollars, even though we had it already booked...

For a trip in December flying Delta, does anyone have a feeling how this strike will affect air travel on Delta? Some say the airline will close. Should we start looking now for alternate airlines (we've already booked Delta) or just wait it out and see....:confused:

To get back on subject...has anyone had other experiences with tour groups in general and cutting in line? Previous posts called it a real problem with CM's doing nothing to stop it. Let's hear the stories......

Let's hear your horror stories. What tour groups are cutting and when, and what have you done about it. What's up with these flags some people raise up and have dozens of kids cut in line? Don't the CM's take care of this? Let's hear it.:fork:

Cutting is wrong, but people do it anyway Case in point...last June we waited for the Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom for three hours. We hunted out the perfect spot at the train station up the stairs, right in the middle against the railing. Our family of six got a table and chairs...

Awesome Thanks very much for your insight. When we were there last June, we did the come late stay late option. We never got there before noon, but we stayed until late. I didn't feel it ever let up crowd-wise in the evening, so we'll have to try the morning. I've also read on these boards...

Does anybody know...if you arrive after midnight, are you charged the full price for the room for the previous day? For example, your flight gets in at 12:30 a.m. on June 6 and you get to the resort at 1:30 a.m. or 2 a.m. You check into your room....are you paying for the overnight of June...

How'd you do that? What did you do in order to stick to the 30-minute wait plan? With posted waits of 60-120 minutes, how were you able to do it? Did you go early, stay late? Just curious.

Hi Everyone...our Christmas trip is now on the books. We're planning to get there on December 20 and leave on December 28. I know this topic has been covered before, but we are worried about the crowd levels. Our June trip last year was fun and crowded, but we handled it well. We didn't mind...

What about the crowds? Just curious what you felt the crowds were like each day?

No car... Not interested in a place that you'd need a vehicle to get around. The bus system worked great for us last summer. Are either Old Key West or Saratoga Springs on property...have a bus?

Two bathrooms a plus Interesting...two bathrooms is a plus, I guess I didn't realize that from last summer. The cabins sound nice but I've heard that the place is so expansive that it's hard to get around. And what are the costs for a golf cart? Two rooms at a moderate is much more expensive...

I can't tell you how difficult it is to find affordable lodging at a moderate or deluxe resort for a family of six without paying through the nose. We were at Disney last summer and stayed at All-Star Sports -- needed two rooms because of six people. It was fine, and we enjoyed the All-Star...
