    Other Disneyphiles in Music City?

Yes I do. They put up fence-like things to prevent the rocks from falling into the interstate, but I don't think it will work :(

    Declining Standards of merchandise.

I am actually disappointed in the quality of the merch. The t-shirts seem to be made of the thinnest material. I was looking forward to getting the Epcot- The 21st Century Began on Oct 1982 t-shirt a couple of weeks ago, and when I picked it up, the material just seemed SO thin and not good...

    Won YOMD prize twice!

That was how it happened for us at first. They sort of looked at us like we were crazy until they saw the YOMD lanyards, and I guess realized we were telling the truth. They seemed shocked and thrilled at the same time:lol:

    Won YOMD prize twice!

My Mother and I were at Magic Kingdom yesterday ( 5/7/08) and as we were coming off the Winnie the Pooh ride, the Dream Squad was there giving out YOMD Special Event Lanyards to several people coming off the ride ( us included). We were told to gather in Tomorrowland after the park closed for a...

    Frequency of trips

I live in Tennessee, and my Mother and I usually go twice a year. It's only a 10-12 hour drive which isn't that bad. We always go in May, and we had been going in October for MNSSHP ( Halloween is my favorite holiday), but this year I caved in and gave up my MNSSHP trip so my Mom could go at...

Whats the one souvenir you always wanted but never got.

Mine is actually a pair of those Mickey head band ears, with the flowing colorful fabric on the back, the Princess Ears I think? I tried on a pair, and felt silly so i didn't get them. After we left, I wished I had just bought them. Also, I had always wanted the Haunted Mansion piece to the...

    What are your disney TRADITIONS????

My Mom and I always go to DTD our first night. We put our luggage in the room, and hop on a bus to DTD, even though we have spent almost 10 hours in a car. The second tradition we have is that we always go to AK our first day, and eat at Flame Tree BBQ at 10:30am on the dot. I am not sure how...

Best Places to Get Frames for Attraction Posters

I bought a Haunted Mansion poster at The Art of Disney , and I had it custom framed at Hobby Lobby ( local crafts store). It pays to get customed frames, I picked a red matte, and I found a really cool black wood frame with red paint splotches ( that look like blood splatter, morbid I know, but...

    Worst queue at WDW...

We do the same thing now when we ride HM. We noticed when we were on the Keys to The Kingdom Tour how easier it was to wait. On the tour you get to go into the HM from the exit in, and see "behind the scenes" things, and we waited for everyone to file out and our group followed. It seemed much...

    Worst queue at WDW...

Soarin is the worst to me:lookaroun While it's nice and cool being inside, it just seems like you are stuck in a bright blue nightmare of angry people waiting to ride.

    Framed Set

I bought one last year at the party, and it seems like I paid $292.00:veryconfu I remember having that sick " I just spent almost $300.00 on a framed pin set" feeling, however I LOVE my set! I can't remember the name of the place where I had to purchase it, but it was on the left side as you...

    kids meals with no kids?

I always get the kids meals, and I am 24:p. They are smaller portioned, and also I am a very picky eater, so they usually have something I will eat ( hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc.) I have never had a problem ordering them, and my Mom also orders them with no problems.

    Keys To The Kingdom

We went in May, and it was by far my favorite experience at WDW yet. It was so informative, and it was great to get a head start in the park before it opened ( we had 8:30am tour). My only complaint is that our guide was from California, and she talked (at great length) about how much better...

    Original Attraction Posters!

They actually sell those already matted at the Art of Disney Store in DTD. I bought the HM one for about $35.00. The matting has the Castle logo stamped out of it. I didn't have to request one either, they had several that were available to purchase directly. We were there in May, and I believe...

What's the very first thing you do

We usually arrive at the hotel, check in, bring stuff into room, go to the food court to buy our mugs, and then take the bus to DTD for the rest of the night. DTD is always the first place we go, then we start the parks the next day. Since we are coming from Tennessee, we usually don't get in...

    MNSSHP Question

We were there on Oct. 27th, which I believe was the third to last night of the party, and it was crowded, but not overly crowded. We went to ride HM after the first parade, and the line was all the way outside the gates to HM *which I have never seen before* but we were physically on the ride in...
